Can a Foreigner Get a Phone Number in Indonesia?
No. DialAnyone cannot currently issue Indonesia (+62) numbers to anyone, resident or not, because there is no purchasable number inventory in Indonesia. You can still call Indonesia at per-minute rates from anywhere, and use a US or UK number to receive verification codes.

Why can I not get an Indonesia number?▼
Virtual number availability depends on the local regulator and the carriers operating in that country. Where a regulator restricts numbers to registered local entities or residents, no international provider can issue one — this is not a limitation we can lift.
What should I use instead?▼
A US or UK number. Both receive SMS and verification codes, both work from anywhere in the world, and both are private to you. You can also call Indonesia directly at per-minute rates without holding a Indonesia number at all.
What about sites offering free Indonesia numbers?▼
Those are shared public inboxes on recycled numbers. Every message is visible to anyone who loads the page, the numbers are widely blocklisted, and they disappear without warning. They are unsuitable for anything you intend to keep.
Do I need to visit Indonesia to get the number?▼
Visiting would not help — the constraint is number inventory, not your location. A local prepaid SIM bought in person is a different product with its own residency and registration rules.
Can I keep my existing phone number as well?▼
